Just saying even this year a treat from this fandom would also make be happy.)



Details about my specific requests within these fandoms are listed below, after my really long list of squicks vs loves! The 33 tv shows after the tildes (~~~) are fandoms I have no specific comments on, anything at all in that fandom works for me as a podfic. Those are listed in alphabetical order. It's only the first 21 tv shows for which I have chosen to express some preferences. For movies, for the first 3 I have comments about my preferences. The other 2 I don't. For books I also list my preferences only for Harry Potter so.. .surprise me if you do anything relating to Thirteen Reasons Why. For better or worse, I know both the 13RW TV show and the book now. :P  (I would've listed more books but most I like have no fanfiction in existence lol.)

Also note for currently airing TV shows I may update my preferences/dislikes if something happens in the coming weeks that changes my opinion on anything but I doubt my opinions will change significantly enough for it to matter. Just if you're curious, feel free to look back here and see if I've updated or not.

I actually know, have vidded, have written fanfic for, more TV series than this and listen to podfics in larger fandoms sometimes too but I would really love for this exchange to only receive/only record within one of these 54 shows, 2 books, or the 5 movie fandoms.

Apologies to the mods for listing so freaking many!! I figure more fandoms might make matching me EASIER, not harder? I mean I'm more likely to have a couple fandoms in common with someone if I list a million choices? BUT... I can trim down the list if needed!

I'd adore receiving something in any of these. I love fandoms that haven't been podficced before getting podfic'd. etc. These all are fandoms with enough fics that getting podfic would definitely be nice in any of them.


Hey there, podficcer! ;) I'm excited to be participating in this exchange for the third time. I'm sorry for the long length of this letter. Please bear with me. ;) I just... figured more details might help rather than hurt? I will enjoy whatever you gift to me though! It's important to me that you LIKE the experience of making a podfic for me, so please remember to pick something you personally want to spend time and effort creating and that will be fun and feel worth it.

For the past 2 years I've had so much fun with ITPE, and I made 7 total podfics those years, including some of the podfics I'm most proud of ever creating. I currently have created 21 podfics, and have a 22nd one that's unfinished but close.. maybe I'll actually finish it before ITPE ends lol. Oh and one of the 21 is not public yet because it's for the Podfic Broken Telephone challenge. I should finally add the 20th to my AO3 any day now but it's a Harry Potter one...

Note that below I mention a few times that I also engage with fandom as a fanfic writer and as a vidder. Vidding is the main way I do fandom, and because of that for each fandom I've linked to a playlist or a vid or something that is an example of me vidding it so that you can get more of a feel of me when it comes to that fandom. ;) That being said, if all I've vidded is 1 or 2 pairings that doesn't mean I want to restrict you to that pairing. In fact I probably would be very happy especially for all the fandoms at the bottom with no specific details listed if you did remind me of the other aspects of the TV show that I also love. So podfic a fic about whatever inspires you!

Squicks, all of which are more "yellow light" than necessarily a "red light" :

Pro-religion/faith fics -- or anything demonizing non-belief. (It's fine if the character is religious and it's explored or mentioned in a fic that they believe, especially if their religiousness is canon. I just don't like feeling preached to. I'm an atheist. I've written about characters praying and believing though. It's just the evangelizing to the "reader" (listener) in fic form that upsets me.)

Anti-Abortion/Pro-Life fics - same kind of thing.

Fics that promote corporal punishment as a valid way for parents to discipline children or older siblings to discipline younger ones (I have gotten uncomfortable reading multiple "gen" fics like these in the past, believe it or not - and it's not due to any personal trauma, the stories about good familial loved ones doing this just are against my beliefs about the method of discipline I guess).

Non-canonical incest in almost all cases. The canon examples where kissing actually happened I'd be 100% fine with you podficcing a well written fic about it, so don't worry too much about that. Just try to avoid incestuous ships most of the time and that'll help me out.

Fics with huge age differences in non-canonical ships, like parent or teacher characters being paired with high schoolers, even if the high schooler is all grown up in the fic. :P The power dynamics creep me out in general. If the canon is borderline "they're like a parent to me" I'd much rather read Gen in that direction? If the characters met when the younger one was 25 or older it's a little less creepy, or if it's a one-sided crush from the younger to the older it might be okay, I have complicated feels on kind of a fandom-by-fandom basis about this stuff... Generally speaking, to be safe though, I don't want to listen to a story about huge age gaps for ships that are non-canonical. However, if someone's written about a student who really dated her teacher in the TV show's canon, or something like that, that's different, because it's canon. I can listen to that. I may have even vidded it...? ;)

Podfics where over 15% of it is smut/sexy stuff. (I'm asexual and somewhat sex-averse, although I can listen to sex scenes sometimes, especially if it's part of a larger plot. I can also enjoy it a lot more if the sex is more about the emotions of the characters than about the sex itself, if it's cute or awkward or even angsty it's better than if it's simply "hot".) I consider scenes of a character masturbating or dreaming to usually count in this category. Don't be afraid to do rated M or E stories, don't be too afraid of a really hot erotic chapter or paragraph or whatever depending on how long the thing you plan to podfic for me is, just try to make it as close to 15% or less of what I'm receiving from you as possible.

Alcohol and Drug Abuse as too huge a part of the plot or unrealistically not-a-big-deal, especially in humor. I don't actually find people being high or drunk hilarious, or a character who says every other sentence "I need a drink". Unless the whole fic is an addiction angst fest that deals with it head on, then I can love that completely. It's more about if it's treated as harmless (my squick) vs. harmful (a trope I really like).

Fics that promote an "Everyone is sexual"/"being asexual is impossible" agenda or even more nuanced things like "everyone masturbates, even aces"... I don't want to feel personally attacked while listening to my gift. (Also a relevant part of my journey can be found here.)

Very AU scenarios, especially for the most realistic (i.e. non-fantasy/non-sci fi) fandoms, are generally not my cup of tea, unless done exceptionally well. This includes everything from slave!fic to m!preg to zombie apocalypse? But ultimately it is up to you.

Female villains or evil women being magically good at mothering, or the trope that all mothers are essentially angels or that motherhood inherently changes women in a positive way. That will really bother me.

Note: I have no PTSD-style triggers. I can deal with really extreme things in fics, but just for the record I do have personal experience with:

• an older family member's suicide (via jumping/falling, specifically),
• an abusive mother who I've cut out of my life. She was diagnosed with things such as alcohol abuse/borderline personality disorder etc.
• a difficult journey to finally, at age 23, accepting & figuring out my own sexual orientation (asexual) - I honestly relate pretty hard to many internalized homophobia plots since I too tried to be and wished I was straight for a ridiculous amount of time.

I'd love these things when handled in a fic as serious and if they seem powerful and realistic as details. I don't love these things used as details only for the sake of throw-away jokes. One little mention of them in a throwaway comment I'll live with if it's really only one sentence out of a fic, but just so you know, these things can add up to really frustrate/bother me if handled in a way that contradicts my personal experiences.


Some of the MANY things I really love in podfics:

Incorporating music/special sound effects into podfics? Very fun. XD Including an audio clip from canon or something? Anything like that is extra and therefore of course not expected, but I generally really love it.

META! Meta about any of these fandoms being recorded or being incorporated as part of a fanfic is a huge thing I'd love. I really love podcasts in general, analysis of fandom from a more non-fiction or literary analysis POV, thoughts on characters, continuity, shipping, and so much more. You may notice one of my Criminal Minds podfics is a "metafiction" story? These kinds of things that kinda break the fourth wall? I really love them.

Crossovers between multiple fandoms I know well, like especially the ones here on this list? XD I also know Teen Wolf, the MCU films only, most big hospital show fandoms, etc - check my YouTube channel for fandoms I've vidded to get a better idea of which fandoms I might be attuned to hearing included in a a crossover podfic.

I love canon-based fics, filling in the blanks of canon, giving us scenes we never got on the show but should've, giving us scenes we did get but from inside a different point of view, etc, etc.

Subset of that: Exploring a possible future down the line for all the characters (or a select one character, whatever) that is consistent with canon! XD

Another subset of that: Exploring canon-compliant backstory, jumping back to a time prior to the canon essentially. ;) So much fun!

I love extreme angst and drama. I'm not afraid of a non-happy ending, a major character death even if non-canonical, a fic all about grief, about sexual assault or about some other kind of extreme trauma if dealt with as appropriately serious and in a realistic way.

I love fics dealing with child abuse and/or being a survivor of it because I myself am a survivor of my mother's abuse and even if I can't relate exactly I can often relate to parts of it and I really love that experience, it's cathartic and I love different people's take on it in fanfiction.

I like stories about cancer and terminal illnesses etc -- medical shows in general are my jam and I listed a few here in my sign ups for a reason, and those often are heavy on the canon illness related angst.

I don't shy away from suicidal thoughts/suicides/grief either. Those fics can be amazing.

I also love cute fluffiness. Honestly I'm pretty easy to please. :P Happy endings make me happy too, of course. Etc. I don't desperately need them, but I can 100% adore them. I can squee over the happy feels like the best fangirls, I swear.

I love fics that explore coming out or understanding/figuring out a character's own queerness, or the process of questioning, coming to terms with it, embracing it, etc etc. Any form of queerness. Including of course asexuality, or ace-spectrum stuff, or aromantic-spectrum stuff, as those things are super personal to me... I really adore them... but also any other form of queerness, like being gay or bi or trans etc... :P I actually really love these stories for any identity.

I like hurt/comfort when well written, if it seems in character. I often seek it out because I love the trope and then am disappointed by characterization? I want the characters to still be the characters I recognize. But taking care of someone when ill or injured or psychologically traumatized is definitely something I enjoy a lot.

I LOVE adoption or fostering in fics. I hope to become a foster parent and later an adoptive parent someday. Kids' POV, parent's POV, whatever, I love these stories.

Pregnancy in an anatomically realistic way (so no m!preg in most cases, generally female pregnancy) is something I tend to really really love fics about. This includes the really angsty stuff authors can play with: abortion, having to give up a baby for adoption, the pain of childbirth, miscarriages, etc - or it can just be happy. Whatever. I have generally positive reactions to pregnancy in fics, however it plays out, as long as we're not focusing on an m!preg. 

I like disabilities/mental illnesses/etc explored in fics, especially headcanons that a character could really have it in canon as a reasonable interpretation. Those can be so amazing. Also AUs of "what if a character had this disability" even if they're completely canon-divergent can work great. Another version of this I can enjoy: exploring canonical disabiltiies on the fandoms of mine that have them, like the characters actually in wheelchairs on Glee, Joan of Arcadia, Friday Night Lights, Felicity's time paralyzed on Arrow, etc, or all sorts of other disabilities explored more like all the Deaf plots on Switched at Birth or Auggie being blind on Covert Affairs, etc etc. The canonically disabled characters often are underwritten about, but when I find a fic about that character I tend to love it.

Eye glasses related moments? As someone who has never worn contacts (but lived with people who do) but instead wears glasses every waking moment (you know, just not when I'm sleeping) and have since 4th grade, it kinda makes me squee when a story addresses eyeglasses related things? XD

I especially love podfics for underrated/often forgotten about characters. ;)

Gender swap stuff or anything that really explores gender in a unique way within a story is wonderful.

I especially love Gen fics, meaning family/friendship, OR character study focused - with preferably canon background ships, I'll live if it's fanon or other background ships though. :P Canon background ships are much jess jarring to hear casually come up in a story. Meanwhile fanon ones can sometimes throw me out of it. The fandoms I listed aren't generally too bad with this except for Harry Potter!! Be careful with that one. Background ships would be distracting for be there.  also fanfics I didn't include here like Teen Wolf have this issue pretty often. But like... I will probably notice if in a Glee fic Rachel/Quinn are just dating in the background, but of all the fanon background ships, that's actually not as much of a dealbreaker as most. I low-key ship Faberry after all. A BBC Sherlock fic doing this with maybe Mycroft and another main character being treated as obviously dating might bother me, that kind of thing, I guess? XD. I'd rather see (or, err, HEAR, hehe) the build up for any non-canon ship.

Of course I'll also enjoy a LOT of non-gen stuff. It's just that I particularly love Gen.

I tend to like, in order from most to least:

Gen best,
then all canon ships, doesn't matter if they're het or slash or femslash I love canon
then AU ships with characters' canonical sexual orientations in tact, this includes queerplatonic partnerships as an option btw and that can be between people of any genders and any sexual orientations, one straight one gay, both straight, etc etc
then AU femslash ships between canonically straight characters,
and finally AU male slash ships between canonically straight characters.

I am aro-spectrum and ace so for a character whose orientation is unknown, I do not necessarily find them more likely to be straight nor necessarily consider then canonically straight. I'm talking more about the characters we've seen for 4 seasons dating people of the opposite gender for most of them and never once seeming sexually attracted to the same gender? Yeah those people are "Canonically straight" to me, sorry.

Fics that remember bisexuality is a thing, especially when dealing with shifting orientations from canon somewhat, make me happy, whether it's just engaging with the possibility of being bi before deciding it's inaccurate, or letting the character actually be bi.

So yeah, I like femslash more than male slash... but I do like all of it. And I'm mainly a canon fan, but a good fic can get me in the mindset to enjoy almost any ship.

(People don't tend to do AU het ships between canonically gay characters, usually that's considered offensive in fandom as a whole. I probably wouldn't enjoy a lot of cases of it, mainly since I already have some trouble re-interpreting a character's sexual orientation, but if an author interprets a character as bi instead of gay, or wants to explore a character being straight with a stereotypically gay gender presentation, that kind of thing it could work in some cases in a fun and non-offensive way. I'd like to at least feel like the author accepts that homosexuality is okay as a whole, I guess? But if you want to podfic something like that go for it and I'll be intrigued.)


If in doubt, it's probably fine. I enjoy being challenged/dared to consume new things. Often I enjoy the experience a lot. If I didn't mention it in my squicks then don't worry about it. It's probably fine. That even includes some kinky stuff! Really don't worry too much. I listed all this as guidelines but ultimately it's really about you having fun making something. ;) I am not actually as picky as this list might make me seem.



So about my fave characters & ships, and other preferences, within fandoms!

Harry Potter - I love a pretty wide variety these days in this fandom but I'm still mainly into Maurauders or maybe next-gen, or canon-fill in the blanks, or canon compliant but immediately after the war/after the books. Anything Harry is a good thing - adult Harry always makes me happy but I feel for him at any age. I'm NOT a fan of Snape, especially in ships, haven't really given fics featuring him enough of a chance perhaps though so if you want to convince me with a gift... I prefer gen the most and but I do like Remus/Sirius (Wolfstar) and Draco/Harry as ships. It was finally experiencingthem through podfic helped get me into those ships actually. I also do ship Harry/Ginny somewhat, also like the idea of aromantic and/or asexual Harry,  half see Ginny/Harry more platonically as great friends or as a comfortable marriage but I'd be squicked out by sex here, by any Harry sex really although I'm almost used to it happening in Drarry podfics now. I like fics exploring aromantic and/or asexual Luna too or otherwise queer Luna, queer next-gen characters... I've read bi Lily Evans too which can be fun... Generally pretty happy with queering any women in HP to not even be attracted to men at all or to be bi... I could ship Harry/Luna but in my head they're both possibly ace so them being into each other sexually as the heart of the story probably would not be my thing. Anything dealing with the Dursleys, especially Mauraders, Lily, or Harry and their interactions with them and a focus on those lovable characters' POVs would be great. I'm pretty open here so... surprise me? Oh and Fred and George stuff, all the Weasleys have a special place in my heart so much of the time... And McGonagall, femslash or gen or anything would make me happy with her... idk I'm really all over the place with this fandom. I like Cho, I like all the Triwizard competitors... I like a lot of the characters. (Not familiar with Cursed Child nor Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.)

Star Wars - I wanted to restrict my sign ups to the prequels. For some reason they're my faves, despite myself. XD I know they're often the least popular... I even kinda agree that the writing is somewhat worse in these, but hey! That's what fanfiction is for, right? :P FYI I don't know anything other than the core 7 films, when it comes to this fandom, and I'm the worst and still haven't even seen Rogue One, but if you must include small references to The Clone Wars animated series or something else I probably will live, I even don't mind spoilers lol, I hope I can follow the plot is all. I'm only a casual Star Wars fan and literally only saw the films once - for the first time within the past 2 years - and I made a couple Star Wars collab parts which was my first time dipping my toes into vidding the fandom? (I've vidded every single fandom on this list at some point I believe. Well, except Motive, Monsters Inc, Arrested Development, The Night Shift, and Back to the Future? But maybe someday for all 5 of those too. I vid every TV show or film I love. It's a problem.) I definitely don't mind the other movies being heavily featured, it's just my favorite characters and ones I most want to hear podfic about are all the characters in the prequels. If the fic you record is at least 50% based on a character or ship or setting or something from the prequels, that's fine. Please no incestuous stuff (for instance not Anakin shipped with Luke, Leia, or Kylo) but other than that gen, slash, het, even femslash is cool. I tend to like the Star Wars heroes more than the villains. I consider Anakin & Padme's romance to not really make much sense so I don't exactly ship them but I do love each of their characters and an exploration or expansion or AU changing of that ship probably would make me so happy. they might be my favorite canon based  ship, because I like their characters and Idk they just are the only canon one in the prequels and iI like the prequels that much? Oh and idk if there are any ace or aromantic interpretations of characters in prequel heavy fics but that is always my 100% favorite thing... XD  One last thing I'll note is... maybe because of the magic/fantasy of this space opera fandom? Well, I don't mind de-aging or aging up as much as in other fandoms. That doesn't sound too bad when it comes to Star Wars. I also think I am not too worried about power dynamic creepiness with ships in this fandom. Feel free to record whatever ship floats your boat regardless of who mentored who and I'll probably be pretty happy!

Gilmore Girls - Please give me anything at all in this fandom. Seriously. There is nothing in this fandom, as long as you avoid my general squicks above, that I won't be really excited to see podficced. It's sorely underpodficced and with the revival that came out last year I've been in such a mood for this fandom.  Don't worry, btw, about a "set in the future" Gilmore Girls fic that was written pre-revival being contradicted, understandably, by the new canon future in the revivial. I don't expect it to be rivival-compatible. XD On the other hand... i haven't read much revival based fic yet, I mainly stuck to fanvideos, so a revival based podfic for me would be so much fun. I love a lot of things in this fandom. If you want to know, my #1 OTP of all time, out of all of my fandoms, is Rory/Jess. I really adore them. I also like Lorelai/Christopher a LOT, not in the endgame sense but in the exploration of what they were and are?? I guess. I feel they are really great together overall, in many ways, and also similarly flawed people who fundamentally "Get" each other a lot of the time?? XD I support endgame Lorelai/Luke - and Luke/Lorelai fics I never read enough of, since I was always in the vidding side of fandom and when I did read Gilmore Girls fanfic it was almost always Rory/Jess lol. I also love Paris and Lane and any ship you want to give either girl, het or femslash. I don't mind other canon Rory or Lorelai ships explored in fic form. Any Gilmore Girls podfic would be wonderful even if it's anti-my ship or whatever...  or original characters explored with Rory either. Jess character studies or exploration of his family relationships is everything to me.  Jess & Luke people!! Rory & Lorelai as daughter & mother!! So much good gen potential. No incest, duh, but there is so much good stuff you could do for me. This fandom means so much to me and I doubt I'll match with anyone on it but yeah. I figured I'd list my preferences just in case. MissGoalie75, btw, is one of my favorite Gilmore Girls authors ever, actually authors for any fandom I have in common with her... she's on FFN, AO3, and tumblr (maybe more places?) and idk if she'll let you podfic her stuff but her taste in writing, especially for Gilmore Girls, is really in line with mine. Even her bookmarks/faves are a good place to look. I found some of my other favorite authors that way. XD Gilmore Girls is in many ways my first fandom and still kinda a main fandom. You may have noticed I once wrote an epistolary fic for pod-together in this fandom about Lorelai(/Chris,&unborn Rory), Jess(&kinda Liz), Paris(& her nanny, mentions of Rory), and Lane(/Dave, mentions of Henry and Rory and Mrs. Kim). I've also written quite a bit of other Gilmore Girls fanfiction stuff years ago, and I have blanket permission for people to podfic any of my own fics, so I'd love receiving that as a gift too. ;) With A Year In The Life, I don't feel the shipping of Rory/Jess as simply anymore. I prefer a really really slow burn towards their romance rekindling if AYITL is included as background. I possibly fell more for Logan/Rory in the revival even. I have a lot of complicated upset feelings about the revival that have slowly thawed over the past year I've had to recover from the frustration and disappointment. I relate to Rory's personality a lot, as much as ever... Um... Idk. It's just messy and huge.

Criminal Minds - I'm currently watching the series through for literally the third time. I'm intending to vid it a lot more once I get through it. this was true  last year for ITPE and it's... Been a proces sbut it's still happening. I'm choose now, in my rewatch off season 10 as I watch season 13 live. Probably when I'm finished I'll write a Hotch-related fanfic too, actually, which I've been planning for years? I honestly love every season, every character, idk. You name it? I probably see something positive about it. I don't mind if you record a fic written back when season 1 or 2 was airing. I'm happy with a season 12 or 13 based podfic too, as I am keeping up with all the new episodes, even with the whole cast shake-up. Sexual stuff in this fandom squicks me out a little more than in other fandoms, because I'm so not used to it, ESPECIALLY for non-canonical orientations for the characters? Honestly even het sex will probably squick me out a lot in this fandom. Femslash sex might be the option I'm personally least averse to. Generally speaking, I love how asexual and/or platonic this fandom is in canon, The fact that the characters are interested in sex is such subtext or not really the point most episodes, so as an ace fan I can just ignore that side to these characters a lot of the time, and kind of let myself forget that sexual attraction exists? XD I think of Emily, Garcia, Rossi, and Morgan as explicitly into sex and the rest I kind of pretend don't have sex lives. I'm torn on my feelings for Garcia/Morgan but i think  Morgan doesn't reciprocate sexual attraction for Garcia so that's why it makes me uncomfortable if a fixc assumes he does without any buildup.  I think they have a wonderful queerplatonic level bond though. My favorite fanfiction stuff explores gen (meaning non-romance), or explores PG-romances. I mean, the show is very violent and rated TV-14 most of the time -- the fic you choose to podfic can be similarly extreme in terms of that kind of thing, or possibly worse -- feel free to podfic something rated R or rated MA for violence/gore and I'll be fine. I love Reid finding love, with original characters or canon characters, but I especially don't want to hear a fic about his sex life in more than a vague way, since I am pretty attached to the common headcanon that he is asexual. Other characters I accept as more sexual lol... I'll live with some sex... and I like all of the characters, ALL of them, including the single-season characters. I love this whole show. My main NOTPs that I really don't like as a ship despite their popularity are Reid/JJ and Garcia/Morgan. Reid/JJ I also have complicated feelings about but I  would be open to a slow burn explanation of them working, I just don't feel it when they are assumed. My favorite ships are Kevin/Penelope, Will/JJ, Reid/Maeve, Reid/Lila, Hotch/Beth, Rossi/Blake, Reid/Ashley Seaver,  JJ/Hotch... and also femslash between any of the main women, literally any combination. JJ/Emily is probably the easiest femslash-wise to find fics on. And I do enjoy Morgan/Reid and Hotch/Rossi. I prefer Morgan&Reid and Hotch&Rossi as almost queerplatonic-partner-level best friends, maybe JJ&Emily that way too, but that's harder to find in fic than just shippiness so I'll live if it's pretty shippy. Just remember my 15% sex-related part general guideline if possible. Finally I have a ton of love for Ashley Seaver, Alex Blake, Maeve... Even Kate... these often forgotten women. 

Glee - I'm very open with my interests in this fandom. I really don't like Finn as non-straight, is maybe the main squick I have. Puck, Will, Mercedes, Tina... I also don't really see at all as non-straight. Yes to minor characters being explored in well-written things that feel in character. Yes as well to main characters being explored in that way too. I'm not averse to heavy angst or grief stuff, OR on the other hand the crack! fics and crazy silliness. This fandom can go in so many different directions so well, I've realized over the years. It's one of my main fandoms for writing in, reading in, podficcing in, consuming podfic in, etc. I haven't actually branched out as much when it comes to my own writing or podficcing as I could. I'd be happy branching out more. There are so many options, really... Personally, I'm desperate to be exposed to some good post-season 6 explorations of Rachel/Sam as endgame or, alternately, how endgame Rachel/Jesse came to be. I adore Quinn/Puck as an OTP. I do ship Emma/Will, but I don't mind anti-Will sentiments either, in fact I really can enjoy super contradictory interpretations of a character like him that half the fandom despises and the other half adores. I kinda like it all, even the really negative interpretations. I like both Klaine and Kurtofsky and similarly also don't mind anti-Klaine stuff in Karofsky based fics or anti-Karofsky stuff in Klaine fics, even if I am personally a multi-shipper. (I guess my fave thing might be exploring why the other ship is so bad in a nuanced way rather than just hate without justification though. OR a fic where all the characters are cast in a fairly positive light is good too?) I like Artie and Sam a lot as characters, despite my OTP of Quinn/Puck I also ship Quinn/Sam enough that a fic about them could make me very happy... oh and Sam or Artie as gay or bi works okay for me too - and I also like Marley so much, and Marley/Jake, but don't mind Marley/Ryder either. Marley/Kitty I'm not super familiar with but probably could grow to love especially if it's only 15% or less sex scenes. XD I love Beiste in every form, including definitely fics from pre-season 6 and him transitioning to male. I kind of don't like that he was made trans, from a writing perspective, because for 4 seasons Shannon Beiste was a non-gender conforming woman who was comfortable with her gender presentation and just had other issues when it came to things like her love life. I loved that character. The twist didn't feel right to me, especially compared to her line "Deep down inside, I'm just a girl" in season 2. If you record a Beiste fic with female pronouns I will enjoy it. Nothing transphobic, just that she's a gender-nonconforming cis woman in that fic. Rachel mourning Finn really gets to me (in a really good way! I love it), and I like Finchel and Brittana and most of the canon ships. Exploring what Finn/Quinn actually were is fun, even when Quinn is shown in a somewhat harsh light I like it, actually all the characters I don't mind some criticism of. XD They are not perfect people. Hummel-Hudson family fics or fics including Burt and/or Carole are my weakness. I adore them so much. I like to interpret Quinn as heteroromantic bisexual OR as more broadly bi/pan since she did like sex with Santana enough to want to try again!! XD and Santana as homoromantic bisexual, or maybe demiromantic but bi. :P To clarify, this means Santana/male ships are actually pretty okay with me as long as it's clear in the story that she's bi. I know in canon she's a lesbian so it's complicated but just... she seemed to actually like sex with men enough in my interpretation of season 1 canon that I like going in this direction with her. I don't mind the idea of bisexual Blaine either. It was almost canon in season 2, anyway. I like to interpret Marley and Beiste as asexual, and Kurt and Emma as demisexuals or gray-asexuals. None of these interpretations are required -- they're pretty rare lol. But I'm not the only one to interpret a lot of the characters this way. OH! and I also have read and adored every single Karofsky & Santana or Karofsky/Santana fic in existence, at least on AO3 and FFN as of a few years ago when fics about them were more commonly written and I was going through my own internalized acephobia/trying to be straight/wishing I was straight. I adore these fics, and in a way "ship" this couple hard. They are canon beards and the fics respect that they are a gay man and a lesbian character who aren't actually attracted to each other, generally speaking. The point is the complexity of what them "dating" really might mean gets to be explored!! The point is angst and character study and internalized homophobia and overt homophobia from families and pining over Kurt and Brittany and all of it. The point is unexpectedly finding a friendship sometimes. :P

Sherlock (BBC) - this was my newest fandom back in 2016, last year's ITPE! Around then been reading TJLC meta like crazy lately haha. Not that I actually truly bought/buy The Johnlock Conspiracy, it's... complicated. But it's fascinating okay?  Since catching up on all 10 episodes that existed, I'd been binge watched Johnlock fanvideos mainly, and started getting into some not overly explicit, Johnlock and sometimes gen or other ship fics and podfics. Many of them have made me so happy. I'm still behind on series 4 but I'll see 4x02 in a week and 4x03 in November so I'll be caught up and emotional about Sherlock when ITPE 2017 ends. Something new created just with me in mind would be so appreciated. ;)  pre or post s4 stuff, either way. I've always been a sucker for grief or  non-traditional parenting situations so s4 would give plenty of fodder there... You definitely do not have to be British to perform in this fandom, I've seen some ridiculous sentiments around, but as an American myself who might record in this fandom, like... come on people. Obviously any accent is gonna have to be fine because this is a podfic exchange and regardless of what country you're from, you're stuck with me? But I want to make it especially clear that I really don't care about accents, and if it's between this fandom and another one, don't let accent be a deciding factor! Just let it be what you'll have the most fun with. Johnlock is essentially my OTP, although I haven't decided if I actually ship them or not. I mainly prefer the interpretation that John is maybe bi, maybe straight, whatever... but Sherlock is ace, romantic orientation not really important, maybe aro, and that they love each other as more queerplatonic partners than anything. That being said I don't know if there are very many fics like that out there. i listened to every Sherlock as asexual podfic I could find   on AO3 tagged with both asexuality and podfic (asexual character etc falls under the parent tag asexuality for search purposes) but not one podfic of that type included the word queerplatonic lol... I love the idea of hearing a podfic about Sherlock being gay but John being straight so, aw, incompatible orientations, or John being bi and wanting Sherlock but Sherlock being aroace so again, incompatible.  I've heard stories like that where Sherlock us very much gay romantically and they still are compatible and bi John is happy with ace Sherlock. But I'd prefer one where the most they can be is what they are in canon, which is like... the most important person in each other's lives, canonically loving each other whether that love is platonic or romantic or has any sexual tinges to it or not doesn't really matter?  no kissing? My head canon... Yeah I need to write a fic. I like established romantic-together-Johnlock in the background of another plot because it is less likely to be overly sexual and hit my squick sensors too often. I like so many possible things in this fandom too, just thinking about it, character study for anyone really could be cool, a fic about families, a fic about Sherlock's self-destructive behaviors and addictions, a fic about John's depression or traumas... I kinda like the idea of Greg Lestrade/Molly but haven't read any fics yet. I actually really love Molly's character and would love an exploration of her - or Mrs. Hudson perhaps? There's so many directions you could go with this fandom and making something for me. Btw, as I said above about Star Wars, I also made a couple Sherlock-as-a-series collab parts which was my first time dipping my toes into vidding the fandom? (I've vidded every single fandom on this list at some point I believe. Well, except Motive, Monsters Inc, Arrested Development, The Night Shift, and Back to the Future? But maybe someday for all 5 of those too. I vid every TV show or film I love. It's a problem.) I intend to vid some aspect of this show as soon as I can in a full length fanvideo. I really love it.  I need to at least see all of series 4 first though.

Supergirl (2015 TV series) - I know the entire Arrowverse! last year i said I was actually gonna try to write a Supergirl/The Flash crossover for the first time in November/December about Kara/Iris (for the Femslash Big Bang). that didn't end up happening. The big bang didn't pester me enough for starters. I might do it eventually though. I still love the idea. I really liked Barry&Kara interacting as friends but NOT as a ship. I loved so much how not-shippy they were in the s1 crossover ep and even again the next year in their musical crossover one in The Flash. Cute and perfect but not interested in each other in THAT WAY. I mainly like Gen stuff when it comes to this fandom, and don't really see Cat/Kara as romantic. I know they're super popular but please can we not? I think the age difference squicks me out and idk why but I'm just not a fan. Kara/Lucy femslash though, that I can get behind, and DEFINITELY Kara/Lena.  Supercorp is my OTP although I also love Maggie/Alex close behind, so  essentially I'm all femslash in this fandom. I really don't like Winn/Kara nor Mon-El/Kara as ships at all. I kind of was anti-Winn from the start. I fell for him a bit more in the latter half of season 1, but still don't like the ship. I love Superman in general and as you can see below, I also know all 10 seasons of Smallville so I mean... I'm open to a lot of possibilities when it comes to Clark in this universe. Tyler Hoechlin was so cute and great when we saw him as Clark. I like Alex&Kara as sisters and therefore see shipping them as incestuous and a no. I really like exploring Kara's time prior to the show, her years adjusting to Earth, her years on Krypton. I like the bright and happy stuff on this show but I also like the simple sadness of her life. I like the idea of exploring Clark&Kara on this show in a gen way, from any character's POV or in any context, AU, canon, past, future, whatever. I enjoy Alex&Hank as either just friends OR I'll admit before I knew Alex would be a lesbian as a ship; I don't see him in a fatherly role to her for some reason but more of an equal and Idk it worked for me. A reimagined Alex as bi I'd still be ok with if done well probably. I do lowkey ship James/Kara, yes. A shippy fic about them would probably make me happy. I also love all of James' stuff on this show, his friendships, him/Lucy, his friendship with Winn, whatever. AU shipping James/Cat works for me in a way that Kara/Cat doesn't, idk why... I don't feel male slash on this show though? maybe Clark/Winn after looking for fics about them for last year's itpe. i fell forthem then. I haven't read that much fic but feel free to surprise me. I have vidded the show a bit now so I know it pretty well. I especially feel familiar with Alex's journey. I like Mon-El enough but don't really believe their romantic-sexual feelings for each other, especially from Kara toward him. I preferred when she seemed not to reciprocate earlier in season 2. As friends they did work for me. And I did like Winn dating that blonde female alien.

The Flash (2014 TV Series) - for the record I have been loving The Flash the most out of all of the Arrowverse shows lately, vidding it more, like I said above I'm actually gonna try to write a Supergirl/The Flash crossover eventually. I really liked Barry&Kara interacting as friends but NOT as a ship. I loved so much how not-shippy they were in their crossover eps. Cute and perfect but not interested in each other in THAT WAY.  My OTPs on this show are Barry/Patty and Barry/Iris... Maybe Caitlin/Cisco although I'm torn because I think i like them better queerplatonic and comfortably.non sexual. but as QPPs yeah they are an OTP for me too. I think Cisco with his canon love interest and Caitlin/Julian are great too. I also just love Iris West and Patty Spivot as characters a lot, so any ship for either woman, including crossovers into Arrow or any other show really, either het or femslash, would probably make me happy. I also like Eddie/Barry slash, Barry/Cisco slash, I could probably enjoy being introduced to any Barry ship slash and enjoy it? I don't know. I'm in a pretty open mood when it comes to this fandom right now. Gen about Barry and either or both of his two dads (Henry or Joe) would make me so happy in a fic. Or just a fic about Henry character study, or a Henry romance, or a Henry friendship even, or Joe/whoever... including Joe's canon romance... I love those characters in their own right as well, Barry or not. I do love Caitlin herself, even if I don't really ship her with anyone on the show too strongly. I like her friendships a lot, especially with Felicity lol. Also Caitlin/Jay if explored in a canon ish way I could maybe get behind. they were best and complicated. I saw a fanvideo that got interested in Caitlin/Iris as potential femslash too. In.my 2016 letter I said I do not like Harrison Wells OR Harry OR Eobard centric ships? XD But maybe Harry etc has grown on me in the past year. I definitely liked H.R. And I think my  friend who's a huge Tom Cavanaugh fan might've converted me. I do not support Caitlin/Ronnie at all, they're my anti-ship of the canon. :P I liked Eddie a lot, I'm sad about him. Barry is my heart and soul and why I adore the fandom.  Btw if you want to see more of my leanings when it comes to this fandom, check out the Arrow/The Flash fic I wrote for pod-together in 2015. Chapter 2 is my The Flash chapter. I... love this whole show and hope to vid Cisco/Caitlin very soon.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016 TV series) - This show is so happy and bright and I started watching for Sara, she was the only character from either Arrow or The Flash I really cared about when this spin-off launched, but I stuck around for everybody. This whole cast makes me happy. Polyamory could work for me in this fandom more than most, I find it easy enough to imagine all of these characters as not overly attached to convention, after all they left their entire lives behind to travel through time and space... XD I also don't really mind if you ship whoever with whoever. I was hoping for Kendra/Jax before Ray/Kendra became more canon but I was surprised by how much I liked Ray/Kendra. I don't love the fated soulmates of Kendra/Carter as much. I'm heartbroken over Leonard Snart and on behalf of Mick Rory especially. I shipped Captain Canary (Leonard/Sara) and I also ship Sara with Rip Hunter. Especially in season two I shipped them even more. I think Rip Hunter is one of the most interesting characters to explore his canon backstory or thoughts and feelings. I love how this show plays with morality and the philosophy of ethics and of reality etc. I love so much about this show. In season 2 I fell hard for Nate, and I enjoyed Amaya as a character as well and I thought they were a great canon romance. I also loved all the Nate friendships and how he vocalized that Sara was bi and I enjoyed Mick Rory more than ever this season as well as his special bond with Amaya... etc, etc. Oh I even found Martin Stein grew on me this season in some interesting ways, it's hard to describe... I'm looking forward to season 3. This show is Pure fun. All of them.
Btw, speaking of Sara... I kind of really love the idea of her with Tommy Merlyn from Arrow?  Not sure if any fics exist where they are together either pre-Gambit or, now that she can travel through time, sometime after she returns from the island and the craziness she is able to get to a world where Tommy is still alive? Idk. I never searched for fics. I've mainly considered vidding these two as an AU I guess. But if you found something along these lines I think I'd be in love. XD

Arrow (2012 TV Series) - uh... any AU femslash possibility, including crossovers of the female characters (Thea, Laurel, Helena, Sara, and Felicity mainly, maybe Sin (Cindy) too) with other arrowverse shows, might be super fun. I especially like the idea of Thea/Laurel now that I think about it... also GEN between these women, female friendships, especially Laurel and Thea both mourning together in the 5 years pre-show? XD Just a thought, not sure if any fics exist for you to podfic that. I like canon-based everything, Tommy is my favorite character, I love Oliver and Diggle a lot though, I love how complicated Moira is, I have found myself even enjoying Slade-centric fics and whatever a random person might surprise me with to ask me to beta. Yes that beta-ing a Slade fic thing happened to me. XD  I lowkey ship canon things like Olicity or even what Lauriver were, especially if the fic is closer to PG-13/PG about the sex parts of their relationships lol... but my OTPs of canon are definitely Walter/Moira (Walter is the best! That ship didn't get enough exploration in canon as far as I'm concerned) and, especially, Tommy/Laurel who I've vidded the most! XD Tommy/Laurel forever. I also like Quentin/Donna, Quentin as a dad in Gen. I really love Quentin. So glad even with his daughters both not on the show he's still around. I really respect when grieving parent characters are allowed to continue to be incorporated into plots. I like Curtis!! Great new character for sure. Big fan. Or Thea/Roy I do like as a ship, I liked them even more at the end of s1, as well as Thea/Tommy or Thea&Tommy because they're kinda canon... even incestuously as a ship they're sort of canon so that exploration could be something I could get into. Quentin/Dinah maybe. Quentin&Oliver I prefer as friendship/gen/interesting exploration of their dynamic without any sexual or slashy component? Oh and I actually adore Sara&Oliver in a weird way? I don't really ship them, but I think the fact that Sara chose to go on the Gambit with him is interesting and then their bond because of their shared island experiences and shared superhero experiences and shared experience of hurting Laurel and all of it is too much to not be fun to see explored sometimes. I just love them in a queerplatonic kinda way, knowing they're sexual but preferring viewing their bond as not necessarily romantic. Also I can ship them (Sara/Oliver) enough to love fanvideos about them and stuff. Idk. It's complicated. Btw if you want to see more of my leanings when it comes to this fandom, check out the Arrow/The Flash fic I wrote for pod-together in 2015. Like Sara being Laurel's (platonic) soulmate (but not vice versa). Two last things I'll mention are: now that Colton Haynes has come out, which btw I was not shocked by (I'd heard the rumors) but was quite happy about... I probably would be more in the mood for anything Roy-centric and even possibly Roy slashy (or het, or gen, whatever) than I might've in the past prior to that point in time. Also now that I like Legends of Tomorrow, I really like Ray's character more so even his time on Arrow would be fun to see explored. (And I'm frustrated that Ray and Roy have such similar names. It's confusing. LOL!) But yeah I didn't care about Ray at first on Arrow, but he and Felicity were not too bad, and then he was on Legends of Tomorrow and I finally fully fell for Ray Palmer, awesomely fun nerd. Donna (Felicity's mother) finally grew on me, like more on more with each season, and Felicity/Billy or something with Oliver's son Wiliam would be fascinating to see (hear) explored, too!! Oh and the new characters, Rory and Rene etc... I really love them all. And I do have a lot of feelings for the Tommy&Oliver friendship, maybe slash but mainly gen for them... they are so complex...

White Collar - At one point I'd exhausted listening to every single Gen White Collar fic on the audiofic archive... which makes me sad! More White Collar gen would be the best!! Lol. I adore Peter&Neal as much as anyone and if it has to be slash rather than gen I probably can enjoy it too. I also didn't realize till my most recent rewatch just how much I really love Mozzie and the extremely deep bond Mozzie&Neal have? Honestly I think the true QPPs of this show are not, as many of my ace friends might like to think, Neal&Peter. Neal/Peter are close friends and partners in work, sure. They are the heart of the series and own my soul, always will. Maybe they're queerplatonic level friendship emotionally. But the platonic partners in life? The queerplatonic in terms of practical measurements/in term of committment?? Mozzie&Neal. Also Mozzie is not conventionally attractive (and I am not, either) and in hindsight that makes me want to pay more attention to him from a fannish perspective. I've also noticed Mozzie is somewhat desexualized/not allowed enough of a love life in canon so anything that explores him more, gives him more fair treatment in the love life department, etc is likely to be something I'd enjoy. In addition, I really like Dianna, Jones, June, Elizabeth, all the characters, I know people OT3 Elizabeth/Neal/Peter and that's not my biggest thing but I could enjoy a fic about them, etc, etc. I'm pretty flexible with this fandom for sure. Canon ship wise my OTP is actually Alex/Neal. I liked Sara/Neal, I don't ship Rebecca/Neal after the reveal of who she is. I never really cared about Kate/Neal that much but I love exploring his grief. Alex is such a great character though?? XD Idk. I just FEEL things for them. I prefer the headcanon that Peter/Elizabeth were happily and purposefully childfree so I didn't like the twist that they had a baby in the season 6, that they were happy and excited to be pregnant?? (And don't get me started on that baby's name, lmao?) And oh, yeah, I didn't actually like the series finale at all? XD My heart is broken. But if you record a fix-it fic about the finale and stuff for me I would eat that up so quickly.

Psych - Not one of my biggest fandoms but it's very fun and I love it, especially Shawn-centric things, especially Shawn gen stuff (with Lassiter, with Gus, with his dad, with whoever, him alone, etc) or Shawn/Juliet. I always did ship Shules, not that passionately, but yeah. I also loved Juliet/Lassiter, as a ship or as friends. Lassiter stuff makes me happy, especially unrequited feelings for people. I did like his endgame ship on the show (Marlowe). I'll also still enjoy it if you want to record something Lassiter slashy for me. :P I'd probably prefer it over any slash in this fandom that doesn't include Lassiter. In 2015 for ITPE I beta'd this Shawn/Lassiter podfic that was heavy on Henry and I was completely falling in love with it even though it was 100% slash, like I was so totally on board with this story.  I loved it so much. I ended up not being finished in time but Dr_Fumbles_McStupid finished it eventually, posted it in January 2017, and it's now here: http://archiveofourown.org/works/9468458. I keep meaning to listen to the finished thing. Also yes Henry&Shawn is one of the best things about this show, that is for sure!! After hearing that in the beta stage, I ended up receiving this completely AMAZING and perfect Gen Lassiter&Shawn fic as a "Treat" and I could not have asked for a better gift, seriously, I was definitely grinning for a full hour the first time I was listening to this thing... http://archiveofourown.org/works/5609791 - this "treat" was by far the longest gift I received for ITPE last year so I kind of consider it my main gift, in a way. ;)

Pretty Little Liars - Oh gosh, this show. I binge watched seasons 1-6a in 2015, just in time for ITPE and then watched seasons 6b-7a before 2016's ITPE. I waited till season 7 was airing before I finally caught up on 6b. After that I was pretty good at keeping up with it as it aired till it ended. Overall, on average, I watched it at a record pace lol, so it's all very fresh for me, just as it was the past two years, especially since I kept up with vidding it most of this time. This is what I wrote up last year, and it all still applies: I would probably enjoy hearing a podfic about anybody at all. This fandom has no podfic and so many awesome ladies and so many amazing characters that I don't even know how they do it. I mean how can they have THAT MANY well developed characters who I'm invested in? My absolute faves are Spencer, and Emily... and Toby, and Alison, and Caleb, and Mike. Yes Mike, I don't care how rare that is to be a fave... Oh yeah, and I totally adore Jason and like Wren a lot too... and find Cece kind of fascinating... I love those characters all so much and anything including them in some capacity would be fun. Crack ships that are het or femslash would make me thrilled as well in this fandom... anything "out there" would be fun. Maybe male slash Caleb/Toby lol. But also you know me, filling in the blanks of canon is also my jam, like one of my favorite things ever. :P I am not super anti- any ships. I don't really ship Aria/Ezra though. So happy endings for them don't do much for me. It's fine if they're part of a larger story or a multi-ship story or a sub-part of some good gen... but if the whole focus is gonna be on just 1 ship, I'd rather you do any other ship. My absolute OTPs that I was hoping would be endgame as of recent are Alison/Emily (yes yay probably gonna happen!), Spencer/Caleb (okay fine I guess not), and Jason/Aria (seems even more unlikely than Spaleb). I know Spaleb is hated but oh my gosh I adored them so much. I also will always love Toby/Spencer but... I also kind of liked the idea of them breaking up for a reasonable, realistic reason and them growing into their new respective romances? XD Anyway I have so many feels about this fandom and it has more fic on fanfiction.net btw than AO3, definitely consider looking there?? XD Any podfic at all, even for ships I don't care much about, would be amazing to receive in this fandom though.

Shameless (US Version) - anything would make me happy in this fandom. I finally caught up through season 7. My favorite characters are Lip and Fiona and Ian all tied in first place, followed closely by Debbie, then Carl. I love the Gallagher family so much. I know Ian/Mickey is the most popular thing by far. I would enjoy a podfic about them, for sure. I tend to like the less popular things slightly more, however. My #1 OTP is Lip/Karen or his current romance I like a lot despite me forgetting his love interest's name at the moment, and also I REALLY love Ian/Trevor, that relationship means a lot to me... so 3 #1 OTPs now maybe... and my crack OTP that I adore the idea of is Mandy/Karen. I enjoy all of Fiona's 4 main canon ships in their own ways but I mainly love her character best in moments relating to her family, including her angst with her parents - or just character study for her? I would be thrilled if you recorded anything in this fandom for me, and don't forget about the option of doing Gen. But I really do like it all.

The Fosters - anything NOT Brandon/Callie would make me happy in this fandom. I just simply don't ship them. I love all of the other canon ships... and the family bonds and friendships... I also don't mind Callie & Brandon as friends. I've been keeping up with everything and I now feel the show is actually quite ableist, especially after reading these reviews: http://toniasays.blogspot.com/search/label/ableism (first posted to tumblr too, let me know if you want the link) and I would love to hear a fic that didn't endorse ableist tendencies toward anyone including Jesus. I... am not the biggest fan of Jude's characterization since he started smoking pot essentially. I feel like they changed him too much.

Smallville - Like I said last year... anything EXCEPT sexual/slashy Clex would be good. That's my one veto, if possible? Friendship Clark&Lex being fine. I know the show very well and appreciate every single canon ship, and if you want to do an AU ship, as long as it's not the very popular Clex I'll be happy. :P  I host a Smallville collab group over on YouTube and I have vidded Clana the most but really do know the entire show really well, and I have enjoyed fanfiction for Chlark, Clois, Lexana. I haven't read very much at all in this fandom though so... surprise me. You can do minor characters, less popular ships, whatever... AUs... I know this show's canon inside and out but know nothing of the fanon really. (I mainly am used to vidding fandom which is almost entirely het so sometimes it's shocking to me how Clex-heavy other parts of Smallville fandom are, like the podfic side.) And then last year I was paired with someone who LOVES Clex, lol see my notes about this whole situation here in a short podfic I dedicated to dancinbutterfly for ITPE last year as NOT my main gift but a side gift... http://archiveofourown.org/works/9165361 XD I did start a longer podfic of Clark/Lex in a non-sexual romance last year and this is the podfic I hope to maybe finish before ITPE reveals?? Idk we'll see...

One Tree Hill - Last year when I checked, there were only two podfics in existence for this fandom, one being literally 1 minute long and the other being a super multi fandom containing Brooke and Lucas which I haven't listened to yet. So literally anything would be good. That being said I am a little picky sometimes in this fandom. My favorite characters are Peyton and Nathan, and I really love Jeyton, Naley, and Clay/Sara as ships as well as Clay/Quinn, and I liked Leyton over Brucas. If I had to pick OTPs probably just Jeyton (meaning Jake/Peyton) and Naley (Nathan/Haley)? I do like all the canon ships somewhat though and I do feel for Brooke and like Brooke/Julian, I'm just not passionate about them. I'm also not super passionate about any of the parent-generations' ships, although Karen/Keith are nice. Also Mouth/Millie are a good ship, I always liked Mouth's ships, even in season 1 I actually shipped Mouth/Brooke I think. I wouldn't mind femslash with Brooke/Peyton, Brooke/Haley, Peyton/Anna, etc. Lots of OTH feels in general, I adore Jamie... and Dan Scott always gives me so many feels. Anything Dan Scott people!! XD Lots of options here, you can do anything you want even if it's not my faves... even if it's Brucas or whatever... I'll still enjoy it! I will. Orphan Black - I have STILL not seen seasons 4 or 5 yet but I plan to... eventually? Soon, even? Anything in this severely under-podficced fandom would be fine, but I don't adore Cosima/Delphine the way a lot of people do, so while I like them a lot, if you wanted to do something that included another character (or a few) too or instead, I'd be especially thrilled. My OTPs are SoccerCop (Alison/Beth), LumberPunk (Cal/Sarah), and maybe Helena/Gracie or Mark/Gracie. My favorite characters are Sarah, Felix, Alison, Gracie, Beth, Cal, Siobhan, and Cosima. I don't mind Cosima being paired with other women instead of Delphine. I liked her and Shay that one season! I do like Donnie and Alison/Donnie somewhat. If you want to record Cophine for me I'll still be happy. They can be really cute. ;) When seeking out fics I've mainly read Sarah & Felix related gen or something lol. Idk. I also wrote a fic for pod-together lightning almost 3 years ago that was Orphan Black gen.

The Vampire Diaries & The Originals - I fell super behind on these shows, like multiple seasons, but like with Orphan Black I do want to catch up. I love them a lot. Obviously you can do one or the other, but as shows within the same universe you CAN do a crossover/both if you want. I am not passionate about most of the ships right now but I do really love Hayley/Klaus and Stefan/Caroline, maybe Damon/Bonnie as my OTPs of the moment. If I had to pick 1 I'm passionate about, it's Hayley/Klaus. ;) I also like Hayley/Jackson, Josh/Aiden, and Klaus/Cami, and I like both sides of the Stefan/Elena/Damon triangle and enjoyed Stefan/Katherine as well as Elijah/Katherine and Rebekah/Stefan...  I love Matt. And Liz. And Alaric. And Jeremy. Definitely Jeremy. Why don't enough people care about Jeremy?? And I adore Davina!! I am so sad with all the deaths on The Originals this past season, and I didn't ship Davina with anyone as much as just loving HER in general. ;) And loving the Davina/Josh friendship. Josh is a really great character in his own right too. I like Elijah & Hayley much better as a friendship than a ship. I love Elena's friendships, including with fellow orphan Aaron in, um, was that season 5? I forget which season is which sometimes.... I lowkey shipped Aaron/Elena actually. I have a lot of feelings about Katherine. I prefer Matt/Rebekah as an OTP over Rebekah anyone else, probably. I really liked them. Etc. (Note: I did record a Klaus/Caroline podfic once per someone's request but I don't actually ship them, not at all.) I've written an Elijah&Hayley&Klaus fic that was really well received, one of the most popular things I've ever written actually, if you wanted to podfic that... :P And I've written some TVD fics too that I'm less proud of but hey if you like them... XD

Heroes & Heroes Reborn (and I also know the 6 Heroes Reborn "Dark Matters" webisodes that go along with those) - anything is fine except the incestuous ships. Adoption still counts as family. Surprise me with whatever you want in this fandom, but my favorite characters are Peter Petrelli, Molly Walker, Matt Parkman, Mohinder Suresh, Emma Coolidge, Ando Masahashi, maybe Noah Bennet, and idk, I liked Niki best of the characters Ali Larter played and I did love so many others too like DL? And then people from Heroes Reborn!! I really loved Carlos, Jose, Tommy, Emily, Luke (Zac Levi's character), Quentin, and Taylor Kravid? I love the families on this show, I love pretty much everything canon, I interpret most things in a gen way so I prefer that rather than slashing but I'll enjoy it too if you want to gift me slash. I've vidded Heroes a ton. I ship the canon ships, especially Hiro/Charlie, Peter/Emma... Matt/Daphne, Mohinder/Eden & Mohinder/Maya... Tommy/Emily? Maybe Carlos/Farah. Etc. Idk. I also liked Claire/Gretchen or Claire/West or Claire/Alex (the guy with gills?) - I especially like Alex because I also love that actor's character on Jane the Virgin and on Everwood... XD I also just always like femslash so Claire/Gretchen, why not. :P

House (also known as House M.D.) - I would rather not hear a podfic about House and Wilson in a sexual relationship. I adore their friendship SO MUCH, and I also love the whole show and any of the canon ships would be fun to hear a fic about, or Gen? I love gen. Last year for ITPE I received an amazing treat/extra podfic gift that was House gen and I adored that. I really like the whole show, all seasons. I shipped House/Cameron when I was young but when I revisited the show I didn't really like them as much, I prefer them more as friends? House/Cuddy became my OTP when I binge-watched the entire series while recovering from surgery lol. Or really queerplatonic-ish House&Wilson is my true love when it comes to this show. But I do like Cameron/Chase, Foreman/Thirteen, other dynamics... really there's a lot that is great here. Some of the patients are so memorable and I could always rewatch an episode if a podfic I receive inspires me...

What To Expect When You're Expecting - the Marco/Rosie parts are my main jam, which is good since all the fanfiction I've seen is also about them lol? That's the part of the film that speaks to my soul, not really the other characters. I think most fandom folks agree. This film might not have been that memorable as a whole but this one subplot was so beautiful. See also that they got included as one of my top 50 OTPs in my birthday collab this year? Okay actually it's just 50 of my top OTPs but still!

Back to the Future trilogy - I've watched these films a lot in my lifetime. ;) All 3. Yes. And I've seen some of the actors in other things since then, most notably perhaps if you're thinking about cover art, Lea Thompson is on on Switched at Birth and I adore her character and think she's so pretty. ;) And Michael J. Fox in plenty of things of course!! I especially loved him being featured so prominently in The Good Wife so recently. I know I'd strongly prefer het or gen in this fandom, but slash is probably the most popular thing so if you're dying to do slash I'll live. For what it's worth a slow burn or slow exploration of friends to lovers would make me happier if you're slashing any of the characters than if it's jumping right into assumed slash...

For all of the rest/the following 33 fandoms (2 film, 31 television): I'm not picky. ;) I usually sure have my own OTPs but it doesn't matter. Just give me whatever inspires YOU. I don't really have NOTPs in these, at least not for PODFIC as a medium. I just really want something, ANYTHING, from these fandoms with very very few podfics. My general guidelines above about squicks vs. what I love still apply, but if you want to record something that deals with one of my squicks in any of the below fandoms I'll still be happy because the fandom is rarely podficced and because I generally like the whole fandom.
